Your 90-Day Wedding Party Aesthetic Plan

The final three months before a wedding are a critical time to strategically take advantage of treatments that maximize your appearance. High-resolution wedding photographs capture every detail and flaw so it's important to use expert aesthetic clinicians to look your best.

For the June bride, groom, and wedding party, achieving that iconic lit-from-within glow isn't a matter of luck—it’s a result of well-timed aesthetic treatments. While some start six months out, you can usually achieve your transformation in just 90 days

Many aesthetic treatments take eight + weeks to produce maximal improvement. A 90-day aesthetic strategy allows treatments to be effective in time for the big day.

woman getting facial treatments

Month 1: March

  • Begin corrective treatments for acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, blotchy pigment, large pores, or sagging skin. Treatments include laser treatments or dermal filler for scars and wrinkles; IPL, chemical peels and/or prescription products for blotches, Microneedling for large pores and texture; and volume replacement or absorbable thread lifts for sagging.

  • An at-home and in-office prescriptive skincare strategy should be fine tuned by an experienced medical aesthetician.

  • Because maximal results may take up to two months, start Microneedling treatments now. Microneedling builds collagen, shrinks pores, firms skin, and smoothes fine lines.

  • For anything that requires at least 2 treatments, start the treatment series now.

  • To improve resting expression lines, lift your brows, correct drooping mouth corners, or early jowling, get any neuromodulator treatments early. This allows time for dose tweaking if needed.

Month 2: April

  • Feature enhancement with fillers provides results that last about a year but starting early will provide a chance to fine-tune the results and still recover from any swelling or bruising by your wedding

  • Get a fractionated ablative laser treatment to erase fine lines or improve scars. This can still be done without post-treatment redness and last into June.

  • Remember, your skin extends beyond your face. Use body lotions with mild chemical exfoliants a few times a week to ensure your shoulders, back, and décolletage are as radiant as your cheeks.

Month 3: May: Refinement

  • If your neuromodulator treatment is starting to wear off, you can still get a treatment so that you look smooth and relaxed in photos

  • Get a small filler touchup early.

  • Continue any prescribed skincare treatments.

The Last 2 Weeks: No-New Zone

  • Don’t introduce new skincare, treatments, detergents, or even new hairsprays to avoid any allergic reactions or breakouts

  • Don't do any of the corrective treatments listed for March.

  • Don't get a filler or neuromodulator treatment or touchup.

  • Have a Dermaplaning treatment about a week before the wedding.

Glow Week

Seven days before and up to the day before your wedding, get your final pre-event Hydrafacial or regular facial. Stay well-hydrated and moisturized.

You’re A Masterpiece of Confidence

Follow this timeline and strategy and you will build a bridge between science and beauty. Your preparation is your power, so when the wedding music starts, your only job is to be present and radiant.
